In the Will Wight series, Cradle, the main character eventually encounters dragons and learns a little about their philosophy (and the philosophy of a group that adopted the power of dragons).

Why does the dragon in your logo look like a turtle?
The main dragon in most of the Cradle books is Orthos, who is actually a majestic turtle descended from dragons. So, my dragon’s a turtle, too.
